Christian Stemmler was born in GDR (former East Germany) and grew up in Berlin.

He started taking pictures in the 1990s and has published the book “ANFANG/BEGINNNING – BERLIN 1994-99 with IDEA.

Since 2002 he also has works as a freelance stylist, fashion editor and fashion consultant for magazines, emerging designers, fashion and advertising clients.

He’s based between Berlin, Tbilisi and Milan.
